Discover the Diverse Birds that Call Crocheron Home!

Birding in Our Park!

Discover the surprising types of birds that call Crocheron & John Golden Park home during migratory season. Friends of Crocheron works with Queens County Bird Club and the Urban Park Rangers to host guided tours in Crocheron Park. Tours in 2021 were led by President of QCBC Ian Resnick. Located along the coast of Little Neck Bay, Our Park is a great place to see a variety of birds. Past sightings include mergansers, tanagers, herons, thrushes, and even a great horned owl!

Tours will take place on seasonally. Pre-registration is required.
