“FOR THE USE AND ENJOYMENT BY THE YOUNG PEOPLE OF THE COMMUNITY OF ALL RACES AND CREEDS IN A MANNER SIMILAR TO THAT WHICH I MADE THIS PROPERTY AVAILABLE FOR RECREATION AND COMMUNITY ACTS DURING MY LIFETIME.”

- JOHN GOLDEN (1875-1955)

Clean Up Efforts

Ensuring that we have a clean park for future generations helps if we have a clean park today.  Making more bins available is the first step, followed by clean up and gardening efforts led by Neighborhood Volunteers.

Education

We are improving educational postings around the park. We have a virtual historic walking tour of Our Park, featuring photographs and historical stories.

Community

Engaging with fellow community members over the common enjoyment and reverence of our local park.  Service opportunities  are socially distant outdoor activities and Our Park provides a safe outdoor space for all to play, exercise, and relax.
